Athletes of all ages and levels trust ONS, the region’s leading sports medicine practice.

While Sports Medicine is the diagnosis and treatment of injuries from sports and exercise, Primary Care Sports Medicine is a subspecialty that focuses on the non-operative management of musculoskeletal injuries in both kids and adults.

Primary Care Sports Medicine physicians are an excellent starting point for all sports-related injuries and conditions. We work with athletes and weekend warriors to treat conditions through a variety of non-surgical treatment options, and refer to a surgical colleague if necessary.

Why Choose ONS for Primary Sports Medicine?

Our goal is to return you to your highest level of play. Whether you are an active child, adolescent, professional athlete or weekend warrior, we can treat your sports-related condition.

We can also offer injury prevention guidance to help reduce risk of sustaining acute and overuse-related injuries, and enjoy taking a holistic approach in helping each individual become their healthiest selves.

What sets ONS apart for Primary Sports Medicine:

  • Fellowship-trained specialists: Our Primary Care Sports Medicine physicians have completed additional training to obtain the advanced skills and knowledge to treat sports or exercise-related injuries non-operatively.
  • The ONS Sports Medicine experience: We work closely with our Sports Medicine surgeon colleagues to provide the complete spectrum of care for our active patients.
  • Professional experience: Our physicians provide medical care to athletes at the high school, collegiate and professional levels in the greater Fairfield County community and beyond. This includes being team physicians for Iona Prep, Manhattanville College, Greenwich High School, and many more.
  • Focus on return to play: Our physicians work with their active patients to determine the most appropriate course of treatment to reduce pain and regain function. By utilizing minimally invasive treatments, our specialists can get you back to doing the things you love as quickly as possible.
