Dr. Paul Sethi is an orthopaedic consultant to the Los Angeles Dodgers baseball team and is former assistant team physician of the Los Angeles Lakers basketball team, Los Angeles Kings hockey team, the Los Angeles Dodgers and University of Southern California football team. Board-certified by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, he is a member of numerous sports medicine societies and is also currently the team physician for Greenwich High School, Brunswick High School and Iona Preparatory High School.

Dr Sethi was a varsity athlete at Cornell University, where he graduated with Honors, and he received his medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Dr. Sethi performed an internship and residency at Yale University. He completed a sports medicine fellowship at the prestigious Kerlan Jobe Orthopaedic Institute in Los Angeles, CA. His research on athletic performance while a resident surgeon at Yale, his studies on professional basketball players and his own experience as a varsity athlete have provided Dr. Sethi with a unique perspective and invaluable fist-hand experience.

Dr. Sethi believes that proper fitness conditioning is essential to preventing sports injuries for professional as well as amateur athletes. His training with professional teams has provided him detailed knowledge of sports specific injuries and a unique ability for on- and off-field management and evaluation for a rapid and safe return to full function.

A persuasive speaker, Dr. Sethi regularly addresses groups about sports medicine for youth and adult athletes, injury prevention and recovery, baseball, hockey and football training and injuries, the facts behind dietary supplements for performance enhancement and his experiences with professional sports teams.
